How to get the passport back to me

Hi Guys,

I have attended american consulate,chennai on 20th Jan,2006.
They have issued 221(g) to submit the project and client details.
I have dropped all the documents,my H1 papers and Passport.
But till now i didn't get any response from them...
I have sent an email(4 times) to them also.....
But i need my pass port back to me,as i have another opportunity
to work in some other country...
If anybody knows to how get the passport back to me,pls help me
out ...

Hi,
Try sending an e mail to them saying that you are willing to forego your visa application and also your H1B, then they will get back to you with the official procedure for renouncing the visa.
