H1- visa stamping....which is better? Chennai or Mexico

Friends,

I came to US on F-1 visa. I got my H-1 visa on March 10th 2006.I want to get my stamping done. My questions are:

1. Should I go for stamping to Chennai or Mexico? Y...give me the pros and cons
2. In case I decide to go to Chennai for stamping what documents do I need?
Has some one gone for H-1 stamping in chennai.

just a question... how did you get ur h1 visa in march when the masters quota expired on Jan 17th and FY2007 does not begin until April 1st?

did you get a quota-exempt visa?(ie non-profit/government h1)
