Is it safe to stay in Cuidad Juarez for a day. Has anyone stayed there?

I heard it is taking 2 days to get H1 B visa stamping in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico. This means we will have to stay one night in Cuidad Juarez. How safe is it to stay there for the night especially for ladies. Has anyone travelled there after the 2 days stamping thing came into effect.

I am planning on booking an appointment in may or June but wanted to make sure it is safe to stay there in the night. If not, will it be ok if my husband accompanies me to mexico for my stamping. Are there any other consulates that do the stamping in one day. Please help.

You can stay in El Paso and travel to Juarez by Taxi. The Hotel people know about the taxis that take you to Juarez. It is very safe. I had been there before. Nothing to worry about.

I am going to nogales on 8th May. I think it takes only a day to get ur visa there,
