H4 candidate applying for H4EAD while on short trip to the US
Hello Guys,
I would really appreciate any input regarding my case . I think you for your time in advance!
-I got married in August 2016 and my wife (for some personal reasons) needed to work in India till this May 2017.
-My i140 was approved a week ago. My H1B is valid until Dec 2017.
-She will apply for her H4 visa in January 2017 and finish her stamping
-She will visit the US in March (only for about 10 days) when I will apply for her H4 EAD (as I was informed that she needs an I94 number to apply for an H4-EAD . This is the sole purpose of her short trip to US.)
-She will quit her job in June 2017 and come to the US for good ...(hopefully, by then her H4-EAD will be approved)
In this case, would she need a second H4 EAD stamping to travel in June ?
Do any of you see a flaw in this plan ?
