Question on re-applying for Change of Status in US
Hi,
Currently. I'm on H4 visa, staying in US and my H1-B is still in process and awaiting for decision for approval. I have plans to travel India and then come back to US, while my H1-B is still in process. My employer filed my H1-B case with COS, and I understand that, if I travel to India while H1-b is in process, my COS will be abandoned and when I return back to US on H4 visa, I need to reapply the COS.
So question is - Does the employer/petitioner needs to pay the entire H1-B cost again, while reapplying for COS OR/JUST the COS fee. I understand that, since petition is already approved, then the petitioner needs to pay only the COS fee.
Where we can find the exact fee details for above case and please suggest on fee for applying COS.
