Best and fast option for spouse to go and work in USA ? H4 EAD or H1B in yr 2017

Hi,
My wife got H1B Approved. As I also want to work in USA, which one is the best, save and fast option to go ?

1. Apply H4 and EAD for me once my wife company initiated GC for her ?
or
2. Apply H1 for me in year 2017 april and wait 1 year for lottery selection ? (This is purely luck based)

which one is the best, safe and fast option for me to go and work in USA ?

Option 2 provided one gets selected in the lottery.But no harm in getting GC started As soon as possible too for the long term plan.
