H1 Startdate and H4 Start dates are not matching

Hi ,

I recently applied for my H1b extension and also H4 ,H4 EAD all together.I got the approvals .But my H1 start date on 797 shows '1/1/2017' that is correct ,but my wife H4 797 shows start date as '4/1/2017' and H4 EAD start date is '12/1/2016'.

My lawyer sent out an email to USCIS for correction on H4 797 copy, but its been 5 weeks we didn't get any response .

Can my wife work on H4 EAD as it is valid from "12/01/2016"?

Do anyone faced this kind of isssue?
