H1b to H4 questions
My wife quit her job and we applied for her H1 to H4 COS on DEC 29. My visa was about to expire on Feb 24th, 2017. So we applied the COS with my extension application in PP. H1 extension and H4 both got approved but the effective date on the H4 is starting Feb 24 even though we had requested an effective start date of Dec 29. What does that mean for my wife's current status? Is she considered in status of out of status?
