Peace Arch I-94 extension without canadian visa

Hi,

My I-94 is about to expire (about 2 weeks) because my old
passport expired before my I-797 expiry date.I was able to renew my passport
and was wondering if it were possible since I live in Seattle to go across the
Peace Arch border and return back without a valid Canadian visa to renew it?Or something
like this as the likely hood of me receiving a Canadian visa this soon is unlikely.

Any help or info about this is much appreciated.
