H1 Transfer - Name change

Hi -

I am on a H1 with company A which is going through a name change. They will eventually plan to transfer my H1 with the new company name.

In the meantime, I got another offer and intend to switch companies. Can I submit the already existing H1 to my new employer for a transfer? Or do I wait to get the current employer transfer my H1 to the new name and then go to my new employer for the transfer?

When you decided to switch company better change ur petitioner status being with new company,anyway to change you petitioner name will take around 30 working days...Take the legal advise if u need..
