H1B visa in Administrative query from last 5 months

hi friends.

i attended for H1B VISA on November 2nd,the visa officer told that they needed to verify my documents and they told they are going for administrative query and it will took for two months,but it almost five months i taken my visa interview.

does any one had the same experinece for this much time.

i mailed to counsalte five times and i given call to them also but i got the same reply that my application is in process.

please share the exp if any one have the same problem but they got visa after some days.

what r da documents they taken from U?

I attended interview on 4th Jan 06, at Chennai and they taken Passport, Visa Issuance D.D, 797b and other documents from me telling that they will send all back to me after administrative processing.

Till now didnt got anything from them except reply mail telling its still in processing.

I think they dont have any timeframe to clear them

Hi Ramki,

Generally administrative work will carry about a month....Some cases it may takes even more..There r lot of cases still pending with chennai consulate... dont loose your hope keep trying......I wish u all the best..

My wife's H4 Visa is under AAP since Dec 14. Yesterday, I questioned them through e-mail why they kept the PP for so long and they mailed back the PP to day but they say that the case is still under review.

iam also in the same situation.i went for h4 stamping vo had given 221(g) aap on nov30'05.iam waiting for their reply from 4 months.when iam giving mail to consulate they are giving ur case is in under processing,we will contact u after the process has been completed and there is no time frame for this.really waiting like this is fraustating.
please let me know if anybody got visa after this adminprocessing.
