Laid off h1 transfer

I was told on January 15 by Company A that I will be laid off and last day will be March 15. now I have COMPANY B ready to transfer but the joining date is march 27. Would that be a problem regarding the status or while processing GC? Can I transfer to another company C at same time if I get an offer.? Please advise

A few weeks out of status is generally not an issue during GC processing.
