I-94 Expiry is less than Petition Expiry - Actions needed ?

Hi There,

Good Morning.

Actually, Below is my case.

I was on L1B in US from June-2011 ( close to 5 + years ) and now from Oct-2016, I am on H1B.

( I made three vacations to India in-between these five years. Final max out date is Nov-2017)

In this situation, below are my expiry dates.

I-94 Date Expiry Date: July-2017
Passport Expiry Date : July-2017
Petition Expiry Date : Nov-2017

Actions done from my end:

Applied for Passport renewal. Will get the renewed passport in three weeks.

My company will apply the PERM process after i get the new passport as well.

In this situation, What are all the actions that i need to take in order to extend my stay in US.

Your company can file I-129 for extension of status, or you can leave and re-enter the US with the new passport.
