H1 b

Hi,
I am in US on F2 and plan to change my status to F1. Meanwhile, i have got a job offer and will be sponsore H1 B. Is there problem of i apply for change in status from F1 to F2 and file for H1 B simultaneously? I want to apply for F1 in case my H1 B doesn't get picked.
