Hi,
Currently i m holding a L1 Visa, and got 221(g) twice from Delhi Consulate 4 H1B. Actually my US employer is a new one(4-5yrs old) and i will be the 4th person to join if i get visa.
2nd time (24th Mar) I took all the documents (Income tax returns, W2 forms, Contracts, Snaps, Project details, client details etc etc) with me asked bt te counselor but still she was not convinced and she asked me to bring some more documents about the employer including my full itienary of US trip and salary documents. She told me i can come for Visa interview at any time whenever i get the documents.
My employer is working on these documents and told me that he will get back to me ASAP.
But today, i got a call from American Embassy asking about my next interview's date. So i told them that my employer is working on papers and i can not give a date now. Then they told me to fix a date for interview whenever i recieve documents.
I think this has never happened to anyone. Once it is mentioned in the 221(g)document taht you can come on any day then why they want me to fix a date. So i am little bit confused that why they called me. If someone has come across the same, please let me know. What are the chances of getting visa if your documents are rite and not ****.
