H1b redirectedfrom delhi to chennai

Hello ,
i was redirected from delhi to chennai and issued 221(G)
i took 2 dds 4600 Rs and 2300 Rs payable at delhi AND booked slot thru TTS .
visa officer took the first 4600 dd payable at delhi.


so for the second time while i am going to chennai is this 2300 Rs payable at DELHI demand draft (dd) is ok

or i need to carry DD RS 2300 payable at CHENNAI

please let me know urgently your help is appreciated

You have to take a DD addressing the consulate general, chennai. The old one addressing Delhi embassy wont work. You need to cancel ur old dd and take a new one.
Call up VFS office (south region) for confirmation.

Answer to your question :- i think you have to get a new DD favouring Chennai consulate.

Were you from Chennai jurisdiction ?
Was your Notice of Action :- New Delhi mentioned in I-797 ?
Did they ask why have come to New Delhi Jusridiction ?
