Context - I am on F1 VISA now and my current OPT is expiring by Jan 2019. My current employer is filing VISA for me this time.
1) When is the earliest and latest I will get to know if I am picked up for lottery or not ?
2) What is the proof that I got through lottery or not? Will there be i797c notice?
3) Once I get the notice that I am picked up for lottery, can I quit my current employer (anytime before Oct) given my new employer will file petition for h1b to transfer ?
