Hi,
Recently I received 221(g) - Administrative Processing , while H1B stamping process in India. It was F1 to H1B transfer. It took 2.5 months to complete the entire process and get back to US.
While in India, I was working remotely for my employer after the vacation period.
My questions are :
1) What was my visa status, when I received 221 (g) in India ? Still I was on H1B, or my visa status was on hold ?
2) Am I entitled to receive US payroll, while working remotely from India, with "Administrative Processing" is in progress ??
3) Once I am back to US, and resume my work here. How USCIS will calculate my H1B employment days ? Is it based on the US payroll or just the US arrival ?
4) If it's payroll, then it's important to keep the paystubs generated ? If due to some reasons, paystubs are not generated for a cycle (assuming it's on hold), will that be a problem ?
Kindly help me out. Thanks in advance !!
