Change of status f1 (opt stem ) to h4

Hi ,
Please help me

I am currently in opt stem (17 months extended ) ... my visa is valid till june2017 ... I don't have pay stubs for almost past 5 months.
I am planning to apply for h4 visa in may2017 ...i was informed that pay stubs are mandatory to be submit while changing from opt stem into h4 visa . I have all other documents of mine and my spouse.

1. What would happen if I submit without pay stubs ? What percentage chance of getting RFE or direct denial without RFE?
2. If i go to India for h4 visa stamping ... would I be asked for pay stubs as I am worked here ?
3. Should I submit my w2 form also ?
4. Should I submit my employement offer letter ?

I am expecting baby in august 2017 , I am worried to go India for stamping , if I don't get visa .

So a voluntary work is also allowed. During the 5 months you were unemployed, if you did voluntary unpaid work such as attending a conference or doing research with your adviser , that will be fine too. Ask your attorney if this is an acceptable option.
