Hello,
I interviewed at the Delhi consulate for my H1B on March 14th. The VO said everything looks fine but if we need any further info we'll let you know. He said to expect a bit of delay in getting it back (The current processing time at Delhi as posted on the consulate website is 8 Calendar days). He took my passport and I believe my case is pretty straightforward - Did my masters in the US and work for an MNC there. Switching from F1 to H1B now.
It's been 8 calendar days (the processing time shown on the website), and my passport is still with the embassy.
Interview date - March 14th
On the CEACStatTracker website, it shows case was last updated: March 21st and it displays in the title as Administrative processing
Does anyone have any knowledge of how long it will take for the visa to be approved and sent for pickup? Any similar experiences? I have my flight scheduled for early next week :/
