Can I switch company before H1b results are out
Hi, Please help!
I am currently on F1 visa. And my OPT will start from June. Company 'A' has given me the job and is going to file my H1B before I graduate. Company 'B' has given me job and I am interested in company 'B'
Scenario 1: Can I start working for Company 'B' directly even if the H1b application will be sent by Company 'A' and the results are not out yet.
Scenario 2: Can I start working for Company 'B' directly if the H1b application sent by Company 'A' is approved. Can the company 'A' transfer the H1b to Company 'B'
Scenario 3: If H1b is approved, Can I start working for Company 'A' and change to Company 'B' before October 1 (the date when H1 status comes into effect).
Scenario 4: If H1b is approved, Do I have to wait till October 1, to switch to company 'B'. H1b visa stamping is not done yet.
Scenario 5: If H1b is not approved, Can I start working for Company 'B' anytime.
