I am working in state A as the customer I am working with allows work from home. The customer is in a different but neighboring state B. My LCA has been filed by my employer as per state B. Since I had the WFH option, I chose to continue working from state A as I was not getting relocation expense or anything. Now my employer is saying that as per their lawyer I might have to move my residence to the state where the LCA is filed. This doesn't sound logical. My employer is not willing to provide any explanation other than their lawyer tells them. I also don't know who the lawyer is.
