H4 Visa for kid with 2 months validity

Hi ,

I have H1B Visa and its valid till 13th July 2017. I am planning to apply H4 Visa for my Kid. Could you please clarify below queries,

i) Since I am the primary applicant and my H1B visa is valid only till 13th July 2017, will I face any issue while applying H4 visa for my kid?

ii) I am planning to bring kid to US by May 7th 2017. So I heard that kid should enter US before 60 working days of visa expiration date(first time entry to US). Is it true?

I doubt they will get H4 with your H1 expiry in another two months.
