  • H1B 221(g)Query Along with B1 very very Urgentttttttt!!!!!!

    Hi All

I applied for H1B in last year & I got the approval for H1B
I attend the Visa interview 2 times.
When I was attend the second time the Visa Officer asked me to submit the Markting Analysis of the final product through Drop Box.

I submitted the Marketing analysis of final product on January 16th 2006 in drop box along with my passport & DD.( I submitted all the H1B documents i129 also)

Then on 26th January they sent back my passport & DD along with 221(g) form.
The 221(g) form contains the following content

    Dear Rajesh,
Based on the documents you have submitted to us, and the information elicited in your interview with an American Consular Officer, you do not appear to be qualified for an H-1B temporary work visa.
In accordance with United States law and Departement of State guidelines, action on your case has been suspended, and the I-129 Petition for a Non-Immigrant Worker filed on your behalf will be returned to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services(USCIS) with a memorandum explaning the facts of your case as presentd to us at the time of interview. The U.S.Consulate in Chennai is no longer handling your case, and will be unable to give you any information on the status of your petition.
For your information, your visa was refused today under Section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act(INA). Essentially, this section states that a visa cannot be issued to anyone whose application does not appear to the Consular Officer to meet the requirements of the INA or of the regulations thereunder

After that I changed the company to Conexant in Delhi, and my current company applied for B1. My B1 visa interview is on 18th April 2006.

Today again I got the 221(g) query from Chennai Consulate.Bottom of that form they wrote by hand send your passport for visa issuance through VFS drop box.

What is the meaning of this 221(g)????????

Is there any problem If I will attend for B1 visa interview on 18th?

    Pleaseeeeee help Me........
    Very very Urgenttttttttt

    Anyone face the same problem?????

take any type of decission (that may be possitive or negative)with the submitted dcouments and info. by you.
