Got 221g at Chennai consulate - docs retained by VO... Need urgent help!!

I went to chennai consulate today and i got 221g asking me to drop some more documentation in VFS drop box.But the VO has retained the I-797, I-129, LCA, 2005 company tax returns, 2005 w-2 forms, DS-156, DS-157. Why did they retain these docs? Do VOs normally retain these docs? Also, what is the possibility of getting visa in such cases?

It should not be a problem if they have retained your papers, you can drop the rest of the documents what they have asked for..

You can contact the consulate by sending them the mail or call them up

Though I have not faced such a situation, but on this site itself i have read many exp wherein the documents were with VO itself.
