Is there a restriction that Visa interview appointments should be taken as per the jurisdiction mentioned in I129. I am working currently in the US and my company is based out of Bangalore. I need to take an appointment for my son who is currently with my wife in Pune.
Is it necessary that the appointment has to be taken in Chennai or can I take an appointment in Mumbai as well. Ofcourse taking an appointment in Mumbai allows for an earlier interview date as well but wanted to know whether this is allowed in general.
