H1B Visa stamping after H1B transfer to different employer.

Hello All,
I am currently working on H1b in US with my current employer for last 1 year. I have an approved petition for 3 years which will expire in 2019. Since my old Visa ( with old employer ) is expired and i am planning to travel to India in October 2017, could you please suggest if i will be eligible for dropbox or i have to go through interview process? How can i check this?

Also, please share your experiences if you went to India in similar case for Visa stamping on approved petition (while working in US).
