H4 to H1b - Application Picked in Lottery. which category to stamp in?

Hello,
Recently my wife`s application got picked up for H1b and the status on website is 'Case Received'. Shes in US on H4 visa.
we are planning India vacation soon, so will she undergo as H4 while filling DS160 and stamping?

Also, since our vacation is 1.5/2 months away, what are the chances for getting her H1b application approved?
Would getting the application approved just before the stamping date stamping (if processed under h4 category) in DS-160 create problem while undergoing interview?

Was H1 filed as Consular process or as COS?

This was under regular COS process.
