H1b laid off - When does grace period end

I am looking for following information.

My last day at my previous company was March, 25th 2017.
My I797 was revoked on April 9th, 2017

Does my grace period begin on march 25th or April 9th
I would like to know based on above dates that what can my latest possible start date without going out of status with the new company?
Does the start date have to fall within grace period or it can be later date if H1b transfer process is started by new company before grace period ends?
