H4 Travel with Old petitioner when H1 holder changed the Petitioner

Hi

When I was with Org A, my dependents has stamped with Org A. Now I changed my Petitioner to Org B. Now is it OK to travel my dependents with old Petitioner (Org A) or do they need to go for stamping again as H1 Petitioner has changed.

Please suggest.

They can travel with old petitioner's name on the visa as long its valid. Do ask them to show the latest I797 at the port of entry. Again, at the POE, the officer may give I-94 only till visa end date and not up till the your I797 end date.

Hello Folks!

I was with Org A and me and my spouse had their visa stamped from Org A. After coming to US, I changed to Org B and they extended my H1 as well as my dependent's H4 till 2018. I switched to Org C then and they only extended my H1 till 2019 and not my dependent's H4.

Our visas from Org A got expired in 2016.

Now if the dependent is travelling outside of US, can they get their H4 visas stamped based on the Org B petition(valid till 2018) or they need to have a new H4 petition associated with Org C.
