Hi My H1B expires on July 27 2017 so i applied for extension on Feb 2017, due to personal emergency i traveled to India by April 12 2017 and returned back by May 2 2017 but i see my extension got approved with my old i94 by April 24 2017. What should i do?

Whats is the validity date of the new I797 as well as the I-94 that came along with it?

new I797 is valid 7/27/2017 to 7/31/2018

What about the I-94 at the bottom of the I797? Is that also valid till 2018?

I-94 at bottom of I797 is valid till 2018 but the I94 i got after while entering US on May 2nd is till 2017- August.
