My current H1B is due to expire on May 27th 2018. My employer will be filing for extension by the end of this year. I need help with my situation here - I am going to get married this November and my wife will be able to travel only in next year May. In case I get the H4 stamping completed for my wife by January, and if she travels to US before 27th May 2018, then will she need to have another stamping done for the extension approval (Please note, I will most probably have my extension approved before May 27th 2018). Or can she travel prior to May 27th and then when we visit India again then she will get her H4 stamped again?
