I am currently on my OPT with a valid EAD card. My employer had filled for H1B and it's currently being processed. Meanwhile, I decided to change my job. My new employer can only hire on J-1, and has sent me DS-2019. The new employer cannot hire me on H1B even if it is approved, and only the J1 is my option.
In order to receive J-1 visa, do I need to withdraw my H1B application?
