H1b to H4 EAD

Hi all,

I am on H1B and my H1B is valid till september 2017. I am eligible to apply for H4 EAD. I am currently working. I need to apply for my H1 extension, but I would like to change to H4 EAD which gives me more job opportunities. Please suggest me the best solution to go to H4 EAD.

Do you already have a valid H4 visa in the passport?
