Any information on the below situation is welcome.
I am currently in the US working on an L1 visa. A non-profit (cap exempt) employer is about to file my h1b.
Once I do get my cap-exempt h1b approved, can I later (in a year-2 years) switch jobs to any employer on this h1b? Or will I have to go through the lottery process?
From what I have googled, cap exempt H1b suffers form the same issue as an L1, namely inability to switch employers.
