H1-B stamping in Montreal, need help/ advice.

Hello Team,

I have an appointment in Montreal, Canada, on the 12th of September. However, would someone know if kids are allowed in the appointment? My kid do not need a US VISA.

Also, when I inquired with the consulate, on the phone they said no kids. They emailed saying kids are OK. When I mentioned, my kid do not need US VISA, they simply replied with the below link:

Need to know, if someone has gone recently with a kid to the embassy, and got their stamping successfully done?

Also, what is the processing time in Montreal? Per the below it is 5 working days, however, if someone has gotten their stamping done, could you please advise the processing time.
