My husband and I are very confused regarding the H4 EAD filing.
Our H1B expires 4th Jan 2018 and recently our i-140 got approved. I've below questions in my mind, Could you please answer ?
1) My husband's employer will be filing our H1B/H4 extension soon so can i send my EAD documents along with it ? If yes, will I get EAD based on new extension dates or EAD with a validity of Jan 2018 ?
2) Any chances for rejection if i send EAD documents along with the extension ?
3) For EAD filing, should i submit any letter requesting for new dates on the card instead JAN 2018?
4) All my documents bear the same name but, my marriage certificate has a different last name . Would that matter ?
