Hi,
My husband’s employer filed for his H1 in April and he was picked in the lottery, along with 400 other applicants from the same company. The approval for none of those applicants have come through. It’s almost mid of September and we are still waiting.
Does this happen often?
I have to file for my H4 EAD and his employer said they can file only once the approval comes through. I read differently on this forum. Confused, can someone help?
Also my husband has been on L visa till now (completing 6 yrs in US on Friday); He was on L1 B till Feb 2016 and then L1A till Feb 2018. Our I-140 was approved in Jan 2016 on EB2 category. If his approval for H1 comes after 6 years of his stay in US, can that be a problem?
