I have worked in US through Company A and i have resigned Company A and came out of USA and joined another Company B in SIngapore for the same client which I was working in US. Now I want to go back to USA through Company B for the same client.
When I talked to the immigration team in Company B (US Office) they told me that my payroll has to be running in US and the client has to assign work for me in US.
Is it really required to run my payroll in company B in US? Can i not transfer my H1B based on a letter from the client stating that i need this guy in US from a future date ?
Please advise.
