Can we add additional documents after H1B extension is in progress

Hi, My H1B visa is expiring on Feb-9 2018 and Visa extension was initiated by my Company on Sep 11th 2017. But while filing they did a error by submitted wrong SOW/PO documents. My company is now saying they will send correct documents and client letters to my attorney for corrective action. Is this possible ? can we add documents after filing for extension. I am really worried my case will be RFE or Rejection. Please let me know if anyone here have any suggestion, information on what will happen.
