Can we apply for H4 of dependent if my H1B extension is pending
I want to apply for my wife's H4 but my H1B extension is still pending. Also, my current I-94 expires in just more than a month.
Can I go ahead and apply for my wife's H4? Will this H4 get through if my extension request is not yet approved?
My second question is : I do not have my wife's name on my passport (my passport was issued before my marriage), but my wife has my name on her passport. Will there be any problem due to this in her H4 application?
