International travel when H1 transfer is pending

I am currently employed with organization A and have a valid visa till 2019. The H1B petition is also valid till 2019. Now I have an offer from organization B and they have filed a H1B transfer with USCIS. I am waiting for the receipt notice now. In the meantime can I travel to India and return to the US based on my current visa and petition. I will not be resigning from my current employer and will be working with him when I come back to US. Do I need a receipt notice to show at Port of Entry?

Hi Sandeep,

Did you go to India and came back with your existing valid Visa while your H1-B transfer was in progress/approved ? Please let me know. I have the same situation.
