Hi All,
I am going for Visa interview at Mumbai, India for H1B visa stamping next week. However I am confused with one thing. My I-129 was filed for change of status from H4 to H1B. I have Original I797A which states Receipt#, I-94#,Name, Class, Valid from to, Petitioner etc. But it is just lower part of I797A because it has been detached from the upper part of form I797A. I do not have upper part of I797A, which is approval notice from USCIS. My employer is saying lower part of form I797A is sufficient in case of Change of status.
All, can you please help me in this case. Do I require original upper part of I797 A at the time of interview or lower part of original I 797A will suffice. Thanks in Advance.
