Right now, my situation is that I'm on my H1B visa, which expires on Sep. 1st, 2018.
I also have the EAD/AP combo card from my I-485 application, which is pending.
Unfortunately, I was laid off by company A last month, but I just find a post-doc position in University B this week.
Given my current situation mentioned above, I wonder whether my wife (she is abroad) can still apply for H4 visa based on my current H1B visa that I obtained at company A?
If not, is there any other way for my wife to come to the U.S. as soon as possible? Like B1/B2?
