Name Change on Passport and VIsa Query

Hi
I got married a month ago. I want to endorse my wife's name onto my passport and also need to change her name on her passport with her married name as well as an endorsement of my name on it . ( So essentially two things)
After going through this site i realised that she and I , both would be issued new passports with the changes requested.
So my question is that...... What would happen to the effective Visas on our respective old passports? My H1 and her H4.

Basically they wont change your passport. they will stick ur name on ur old passport itslef.
