Getting H-1b Visa Stamp while I-140/I-485 pending
Hi All,
I'm currently in F-1 and have I-140/I-485 pending. However, I might not receive the EAD/AP before traveling. I understand that the 485 application will be abandoned if I travel without AP, but since I have a H-1B petition (consular processing), I want to go back to my native countries' consulate and get the H-1B stamped. I'll re-apply the 485 application once I get back to the US.
1. Are there any risks that I'll not get my H-1B approved due to the abandonment of 485?
2. Am I eligible to re-apply 485 application?
