Self apply for H4 EAD?

Hi- am new here..not sure if this has been asked before but here goes
would it be ok to apply for H4 EAD on our own instead of going thorough a lawyer?
also any thread/step-by-step guide on how to do it? or any suggestions at all also would help..

You can do it on your own. You can also use a lawyer . Its just your preference
