    Hello!

    My name is Guruprasad.

I needed an appointment at U.S Consulate, Chennai in October 2006 for which I bought a VFS voucher. Unfortunately I did not recall if I mentioned in the HDFC form, the visa category for which I want to apply. I want to apply for H1B.

In short is there a different voucher for H1B Visa and other general categories like B1/B2 Visitors Visa? and if yes, what would I need to do to rectify my mistake?

    Thank you,
    Guruprasad

Hey, I had asked my parents to deposit my fees for H1 b in India and they have not mentioned the type of visa anywhere either..
As far as I know, the visa application fees is same for all non- immigrant visas.
I took an H1 B stamping appointment using that very voucher number and it has worked.. I donot think you should bother much ...
