H1B extension and Transfer from being in India

Hi All,

I am having H1B VISA , which have issue date of 7 JUNE 2017 and expiry date of 20 JAN 2018. I haven't traveled to US on H1B till date. I am in India.


I have some questions on it.

1) If I didn't travel till 20 JAN 2018 will my visa expires ? I would not be able to travel on H1B after that ?

2) How I can extension on H1B from being in India (I haven't traveled on H1B anytime).
