H1B using old CAP - need original I-797 - Need help

Hi All,

I need urgent help on my stituation. Please find the facts on my H1B.

1. I had a H1B stamped on my passport by my previous employer at 2009
2. I never traveled using that H1B.
3. While leaving the organization, previous employer got the I-797 original form back to them and now it is expired.
4. Now for 2018, my current employeer is want to raise a H1B request for me.

Question:
1.Whether i have any advantage on my expired H1B visa now.?
2. Can i use that for CAP ?
3. Whether original I-797 is needed for any advantage for this situation.
